What could be more fitting than to add a nostalgic popper to the night we often look back on as we sing the Scottish poem of Auld Lang Syne? A soda can has never looked better and the tutorial is easy to follow.
You can also let 2014 go out with a bang by making a bunch of noise makers with the recent leftovers of gift wrap, basket fillers, candies and more!

This Frugal Gal loves recycling and saving money and I’m sure you do too. Kidfriendlythingstodo.com has a fabulous idea on re-using water bottles for noise makers.
Besides the tutorials above, these can also work well as “containers” for noise makers:
2 plastic or foam cups taped together
Foil pie tins taped together
Frozen juice cans capped with foil
Mint tins (such as Altoids)
Nuts (edible or hardware)
With a little imagination, you’ll have those noise makers in no time! If you’ve made some awesome noise makers, please don’t forget to send some pics for all to see. Thanks and have a wonderful New Year!
