New Additions to the Beetlejuice Yard 2026

For the past few years, I’ve been doing working on the original Beetlejuice characters for my Halloween haunts. This year I’ve added Dante’s Inferno/signs, and The Char Man aka the smoking man from the waiting room. I have taken lots of pics of my builds from beginning to end, but those tutorials will have to come later.

Dante’s Inferno was made with 1″ and 1/2 ” insulation board. Between the 15 ft. height of the Devil’s head and the signs, I needed 2 – 8ft. x 4ft. 1″ ones, and 2 – 1/2″ 8ft. x 4ft. pieces. The ears and flames were 1/2″ pieces and the signs came from the leftovers from both.

The Char Man (smoking man from waiting room), was made from a black skeleton, spray foam, melted black landscape plastic, and paints. If you’re looking for the tutorials for next year, let me know via message or comment and I’ll get the tutorials together. In the meantime, here are a few more pics.

A quick note: Take a closer look at the Dante sign in The Char man pic below, you’ll see that keeping that pool noodle glued was a struggle. I tried 3 attempts before finally getting it right later, without any glue. I’ll add the final fixed sign and the ultimate fix with the tutorial post.

Happy Halloween!
